Ian S. Baker is President of Price Raffel and Browne, a national leader in financial services.

A Chartered Accountant, the U.K. CPA equivalent, Mr. Baker moved to the United States in 1984. He spent the next several years in leadership roles in the retail and wholesale distribution industries.

In 1999, Mr. Baker entered the field of financial services with Allmerica Financial.

In 2002, he joined Price Raffel & Browne to enhance the services he could provide to a growing list of clients. Today he leads a personal practice team of five, which helps provide the following services to individual and corporate clients:

  • Pre and Post Retirement Asset Management
  • Estate and Financial Planning
  • Insurance Consultancy
  • Retirement Plans and Employee Benefits

Distinguished for his analytical skills and market acumen, Mr. Baker today numbers well known corporations, professional practices and distinguished individuals among his clients.

Mr. Baker's philosophy is based on solving the problems and achieving the goals of his clients, as opposed to providing product. 

He and his wife, Stephanie, a teacher, reside in Oyster Bay, N.Y. They have two grown children.
